Q:We are using for laboratory coin cell research, what’s your suggestion for diameter of cutting die?
A:Generally speaking, for CR20XX series button battery research, we will choose 14mm-18mm diameter electrode cutting die and 19mm or 20mm cutting die for battery separator.
Q: Do you have any recommendations for the maintenance of the equipment?
A: The most important thing is keeping equipment clean, and avoiding the equipment be rusted, especial the cutting die.
Brief Introduction:
AOT-CP60 button battery punching machine is a patented product independently developed by AOT ELEC Company. It is specially used for coin cell electrode and battery separator round disc cutting. It can punching and blanking on the sheet material with 6-24mm diameter molds. The whole machine is compact in design and flexible in use. It is very suitable for laboratory battery electrode sheet blanking on cathode, anode and PP/PE separator with 0.001-0.5mm thickness.

Laboratory use

For making CR20xx series buttonbatteries,
we suggest you can choose three cutting dies:
A 15mm (for negative side case, which is 16.5mm in diameter)
B 19mm (for positive side case, which is 20mm in diameter)
C 20 mm (for separator to fully separate the electrodes)
For CR2450 coin cell:
20mm cutting die is used for cutting electrode disc;
24mm cutting die for either electrode or separator disc.
