The MVI46-MCM is a Modbus Master/Slave Network Interface Module. This module is developed by ProSoft Technology that is specifically compatible with SLC 500 processors.
This module is a single slot module, compatible to any 1746 backplane, configured as local or extended rack. It has One (1) RJ45 (DB-9M with supplied cable) RS-232 only configuration port and Two (2) RJ45 RS-232/422/485 Application ports. It is compatible with SLC 5/02 M0/M1 capable processors or later models.

	The MV146-MCM enables any compatible SLC 500 processor to easily interface with MODBUS enabled devices and hosts instruments.
	It serves as an I/O module between the MODBUS network and the SLC 500 backplane.The MV146-MCM is a single slot module that directly installs to a 1746 backplane.
