The MV156 Generic ASCI Ethernet Communication Module is designed toallow processors to interface easily with ASCII devicesusing the TCP/lP protocol. Compatible devices may be either ASCIIinstruments with built-in Ethernet or Ethernet connection via a thinserver to the existing ASCIl device.
Five servers and Clients are present on the module permitting boththe reception and transmission of data between the processor andattached devices.
