ABOUT 6DD1606-2AC0 :
The PT20G comprises a basic PT20 board and a TG1 sub-module, which are combined to form a
single unit.
Plug-in program memory modules (MS4x) are used (slot X50) to program the board with the user
program and also with the system firmware (operating system, monitor program, code of the function
blocks ...). The user program runs on the processor under the real-time SIMADYN D operating
system. This guarantees, depending on the interrupts configured, controlled, fixed cycle times of ³ 1
ms.
The serial interfaces (connector X01/X02) are communications- and service interfaces.
During normal operation, the configured code number of the processor module is indicated on the 7-
segment display H1 on the board front panel. If the board develops a fault, the display flashes with a
fault code. The HEX monitor can be activated when a fault signal appears, by depressing key S1.
