The PC software (for DOS) "SINEC NML" with the SIMADYN Dspecific supplement is required to parameterize the module for the Industrial Ethernet bus. The software, which can be downloaded at no charge from the Internet, contains a pre-configured database (e.g. for profiles and function distribution tables for layer 4 and 7 applications and application relationships). The layer 7 functions of the CSH11 include the SINEC technological functions (STF) according to the "SINEC AP 1.0 specifications". The data set, created using SINEC NML can be downloaded via the RS 232 interface of the CSH11. Provided an Industrial Ethernet interface (e.g. CP 1512 (PCI) or CP 1613) is built into the PC, it is possible to load the data record through the bus.
