The Siemens 6ES5 470-4UC12 is an analog output module for Simatic S5 programmable logic controllers (PLCs). This PLC system has a modular design enabling you to add or remove modules as necessary to the changing needs of your application. Analog output modules convert the digital values from the programmable controller into analog signals required by the process.
The 6ES5470-4UC12 is available with eight outputs and an output voltage of +1...5 V; +4...20 mA. They require one slot. Front connectors are used for terminating the signal cables. Modules and front connectors may be inserted and removed under power.
Enable input can be used on the module to disable the output of new values. The last output value is retained. The enable input can be deactivated by removing the respective jumper on the module.
