High frequency welding rod core working environment determines that it must have a certain corrosion resistance, high -temperature resistance, by using different magnetic thickness can get different magnetic induction intensity and some places need magnetic induction intensity is relatively strong.
The choice of different high frequency welding rod core magnet can determine the maximum magnetic induction intensity and temperature performance, generally to welding in the conventional 1 inch diameter high frequency magnetic NdFeB magnets do surface magnetic induction intensity of more than 12000 Gauss need more than N40 material. The welding rod core in the temperature more than 150 degrees above the general choice of alnico high temperature resistance.

What is High frequency welding technique?
High frequency welding technique is a new type of welding technology which uses the skin effect and the adjacent effect produced by the high-frequency current to connect the steel plate and other metal materials. The emergence and maturity of high frequency welding technology, it is the key process of the straight welded pipe (ERW) production. The quality of high frequency welding directly affects the overall strength, quality grade and production speed of welded pipe products.
Brief introduction high frequency. skin effect and proximity effect
1.The so-called high frequency, is relative to the AC current frequency of 50Hz, generally refers to the 50KHz~400KHz high frequency current. High frequency current passing through metal conductor, will produce two kinds of strange effects: skin effect and proximity effect, high-frequency welding is the use of these two effects to carry out welding of steel pipe. So, what's the effect of these two effects?
2.The skin effect refers to a certain frequency alternating current through the same conductor, all cross current density is not evenly distributed in the conductor, it will mainly to the surface of the conductor, the current in the conductor surface density, in the internal conductor density is small, so we called "skin effect". The skin effect is usually measured by the penetration depth of the current, and the smaller the penetration depth, the more remarkable the skin effect. The penetration depth is proportional to the square root of the resistivity of the conductor, and inversely proportional to the square root of the frequency and permeability. Generally speaking, the higher the frequency, the more concentrated the current is on the surface of the steel plate; the lower the frequency, the more dispersed the surface current. It must be noted that although the steel is a conductor, its permeability will decrease with the increase of temperature. That is to say, when the temperature of steel plate rises, the permeability will decrease and the skin effect will decrease.
3.The proximity effect refers to the high frequency reverse current in the conductor two adjacent flow, current to the two conductor near edge flow, even if the two conductor in a short while, the current does not flow along the route is short, the effect is called: "proximity effect".
The proximity effect is essentially due to the inductive effect, play a leading role in the high frequency inductive current. The proximity effect increases with the increase of frequency and the distance between adjacent conductors. If a magnetic core is added around the adjacent conductor, then the high frequency current will be more concentrated on the surface of the workpiece.
4.These two effects are the basis of high frequency metal welding. High frequency welding uses the skin effect to concentrate the energy of the high frequency current on the surface of the workpiece, and uses the proximity effect to control the position and range of the high frequency current flow path. The speed of the current is very fast. It can melt and fuse the adjacent steel plates in a short time, and realize the butt joint by extrusion.
