The DI880 High Integrity Digital Input Module is TÜV certified for IEC 61508 SIL3 and EN 954-1 Category 4.

The DI880 has 16 channels for 24 V d.c. digital inputs and sequence of events (SOE) handling capabilities. The sequence of events time stamp has a resolution of 1 ms for each input channel. Each input channel provides current limiting, EMC protection, input state LED indicator and optical isolation from the ModuleBus.The input voltage range is 18 to 30 V d.c. and the input current is 7 mA at 24 V d.c.
