Model 3503E is a 24 VAC/DC digital input module with 32 inputs, commoned in groups of 8.
Each TMR Digital Input (DI) modulehas three isolated input channels whichindependently process all data input tothe module. A microprocessor on eachchannel scans each input point,compiles data, and transmits it to theMain Processors upon demand. Theninput data is voted at the Main Processors just prior to processing to ensurethe highest integrity. All critical signalpaths are 100 percent triplicated forguaranteed safety and maximum availability. Each channel conditions signalsindependently and provides opticalisolation between the field and theTricon.
