Application for titanium dioxide nanopowders:
Hygroscopic:
1. Although titanium dioxide has hydrophilic,
but the hygroscopicity performance is not so strong.
2. Titanium dioxide hygroscopic is related
with its surface area, more larger surface area, more higher hygroscopicity
performance.
3. The hygroscopicity of titanium dioxide
is also related with the surface treatment
Thermal stability:
Titanium dioxide material belonging to good
thermal stability, the general adding amount is 0.01% to 0.12%.
4. Titanium dioxide is a white pigment and
porcelain glaze. Used in paints, inks, plastics, rubber, paper, chemical fiber,
watercolor paint and other industries.
5. Titanium dioxide is the whitest stuff, 1 g of titanium dioxide can be more than 450 cm2 area painted white. It is whiter five
times than the commonly used white pigment barium zinc white, thus is modulating
the best white paint pigment.
6. Titanium dioxide can be added in the
paper where the paper white and opaque, the effect is 10 times larger than the
other substances,
7. In order to lighten the color of the
plastic, so shiny and soft rayon, sometimes have to add titanium dioxide.
8. In the rubber
industry, titanium dioxide is also used as a filler of white rubber.
