The 5466-355 is a Remote Transceiver Interface Remote Module . Simplex Remote Transceiver Module 5466-355 sends and receives control data and address information for the associated Main XCVR module. The 5466-355 unit connects to the Main Chassis's VME bus.
The chassis decoder determines if this chassis is to be accessed, and if so, it activates 5466-355 module to receive or send information.Compared to other units in the MicroNet series, the 5466-355 is rather simple in the fact that it only has two connections in the front for the Main XCVR Chassis and two more at the rear for its own Remote XCVR Chassis.
