MicroNet™ 040/060 CPU Module Obsolescence
The CPU 040/060 Modules were used as the main processor for NetCon™/MicroNet platforms until the early 2000’s, and on the 040 TMR product line until 2009. This functionality has been replaced by newer CPUs, and the old designs are no longer feasible to produce due to component obsolescence.
TMR systems will require replacement of all of the CPUs and Kernel Power Supplies and may require I/O module updates. See product specification 03363 and product manuals 26167V1 & B26167V2 for
information on replacement modules. See the 5009FT Upgrade Kit manual 26593 for instructions on
upgrading these systems.
