Troubleshooting of YAMAHA Robot E17 in Switzerland
1. When a malfunction occurs, try to have the opportunity to back up the data first. In general, basic judgment can be made through the controller fault LED light. When a warning occurs, the 7-segment LED on the front of the controller displays a warning number for 2 seconds. Then the fault information will be displayed alternately.
2. Then, when there is an optional teaching pendant, priority should be given to using the teaching pendant for diagnosis, browsing all system fault types and information, as well as resetting alarms.
3. If there is no teaching pendant, use computer software to connect to the robot control system and read the system fault history information. Be sure to backup your data in advance.
4. Enter the system through RS232 connection and read the fault history.
5. Based on the above information, it can be determined that the fault type E17 is related to the motor.
6. Based on the detailed reference of system history fault information 17.902, it is determined that it is caused by overcurrent.
7. Determine the usage status of the device, and the load has not changed. The external input voltage is within the normal range.
8. There are generally two causes of overcurrent: reduced load impedance and IGBT inverter error. In the case of no change in load resistance, priority should be given to determining the driver IGBT power supply fault.
