UGQMEM-06-SW51 Motor:In recent years, with the increasing demand for equipment accuracy and speed, the application of various types of linear motors has been promoted, forming many practical and valuable products. Linear motors have begun to demonstrate their value in areas that rotary motors cannot meet, such as the semiconductor industry, CNC machine tool industry, laser processing industry, logistics and transportation industry, etc.
A linear motor is a transmission device that directly converts electrical energy into linear motion mechanical energy without the need for intermediate conversion of machinery. It is commonly referred to as a linear motor. Yaskawa Electric has a wide variety of linear motors, which have the advantages of high thrust, high accuracy, and low heat generation, and are widely used in the above industries.
Yaskawa linear motors are divided into three types: non core type (also known as U-type), flat plate type with iron core (also known as F-type), and T-type with iron core.
The coreless U-shaped coil has no iron core, so the magnet and coil have no attraction. The attraction and thrust between magnets are small. The advantages of the coreless U-shape are high accuracy, low speed pulsation, and low noise.
The core of the F-type coil has an iron core, making it attractive. Relatively speaking, it is prone to fluctuations. Its gap is very small, so the magnet is smaller and better positioned. The advantages of the core F-type are its flat structure, which saves space, has high thrust, and high rigidity.
The T-shaped iron core is also attractive, but two magnets are placed on each side of the iron core, and the magnetic force cancels out each other, so the impact of its attraction on the slider is relatively small. The advantage of a core T-shaped structure is that it has low requirements for mechanical rigidity.
