The AAR145-S50 S1 module is designed to receive signals from various types of sensors, including mV, thermocouples (TC), RTD, and potentiometers (POT). These signals are isolated both between the field and the system and between each channel, ensuring signal integrity and preventing interference. The module is capable of being used in a dual redundant configuration, enhancing system reliability.
Additionally, the AAR145 complies with JIS C1602:1981 and JIS C1604:1989 standards for temperature sensors, including Pt100 and JPt100 RTDs. However, the Type B model does not support temperature compensation and cannot measure temperatures below 44°C.
For signal connections, the module can handle an allowable total resistance of 150 Ω or less, including the wiring resistance per wire, ensuring proper signal processing without significant loss or interference.
